Junior Summer Tournament
We will be holding a tournament for all juniors and mini's on Sunday 20th June from 3pm. The format of the tournament will depend on the age / number of entrants. The aim is to have a final for each age category to be held on the main club finals day, Sunday 11th July. If you would like to play in this please let Nicky or Roy know.
JC Nite
JC Nite is back - it runs Fridays from 17:30 until 19:00. In a break with the past it is now open to Juniors from 10 years upwards (there maybe a small charge of around £1.50-£2 per session). Please email Nicky or text Roy on 07889 332260 if interested.

Mixed Junior Singles Box League
We are planning on running a mixed singles box league during February and March.
Each box will have four players, both boys and girls, so there will be three matches to play over four weeks. Each box will be ranked. Matches to consists of two sets with a tie break at 6-6. 1 point is scored for each set won. This is open to all juniors as the boxes will be ranked according to age and ability.

General Information
We have a busy junior section. The Junior Committee and club coaches are responsible for the planning and organisation of junior activities.
The Club aims to allow juniors as much court time as possible. Squads are held every weekday during term from 3pm onward for all ages and abilities - see the attached timetable. Elements of the LTA Mini Tennis programme are incorporated for younger players and beginners.
Juniors have the use of all 6 courts on Saturday mornings for coaching, matches and social play. They are welcome to use the courts at any other time except club sessions.
Tennis camps are held during the school holidays. There are plenty of opportunities for competitive tennis: Junior Club Tournaments, Match-Play days and county league matches. The Club also holds an annual Junior Open Tournament, usually in October. As Juniors improve they are encouraged to join Club Sessions and play in Senior matches.
